The World is Changing

worldchanging_lyleAfter season three, there was a great amount of anticipation coming into season four. Jarod was in the Centre and as we came back, we learned that Mr. Parker was gone. Michael T. Weiss, it should be added, came back from the summer break muscles cut, body buff. While he has always been in great shape, he’d worked hard over the break to pump up, which served us well in the opening torture scenes with his shirt off. Long story short, with Lyle in charge and Miss Parker recovering from her wounds wondering about her father, there was much to mine creatively.

Some highlights…

The jet crash sequence where the Albino (Tobin Bell) is nearly sucked out…

The torture sequence with Jarod, Sam and an angelically evil white suited Lyle…

Discovering Miss P in the hospital and that she was committed to a psychiatric ward by Lyle…

worldchanging_jarodfbiJarod’s entrance as an FBI agent. Since we’d done this scene several times before, Jarod as a federal agent, meeting his co-workers, etc., we were happy to hit upon a new wrinkle; have Jarod come in an appear to be an inept, over-his-head agent, who only had this job because he was related to some congressman. We wrote and played it for fun — our genius looking very stupid. It was fresh and it worked.

Overall, a strong start to what would end up being our final season.

worldchanging_jarodwaterOkay, although Michael T. does a lot of his own stunt work, he does have a professional stuntman to back him up. The scene in the cage where Mr. Lyle tortures Jarod with the firehose, was a little more than you would want your lead actor to attempt on the first episode of your new season (can’t take a chance on your lead getting injured – for obvious reasons). We were very fortunate to have Chad Stahelski as Michael T.’s stuntman. Chad was also the stuntman for Keanu Reeves in “The Matrix” and is busy working on the sequel to that movie now.

Little Known Fact:

We were very fortunate to have Chad Stahelski as Michael T.’s stuntman. Chad was also the stuntman for Keanu Reeves in “The Matrix”.
